GFL Water Still 2002
Fully automatic water still for single distillation, with built-in storage tank,suitable for both bench and wall mounting.
High-quality distillate is used in research and development e. g. for preparing bacteriological and medical samples, for cell and tissue cultures, for the production of reagents and unguents, for cleaning and sterilisation processes, for buffered solutions as well as microbiological and analytical applications.
Capacity: 2 litres per hour.
Storage tank: built-in, capacity 4 litres.
Distillate quality: Conductivity approx. 2.3 µ-Siemens/cm at 25°C **. Corresponds to international pharma-copoeia requirements, pyrogen and germ-free, low gas.
Cooling water required: approx. 30 l / h. Economical energy consumption by distillation of the heated cooling water. Water saving through automatic water cut-off. Unnecessary water consumption will be avoided.
Control: Fully automatic, an electronic level switch switches the still off when the storage tank is full and restarts it automatically when distillate is withdrawn. Condenser (cooling coil) inside the storage tank, easily exchangeable. Distillate withdrawal through drain cock with continuous and touch position. Evaporator with baffle to hold back drops of water carried along with the steam is easily accessible for cleaning purposes. Main switch with green pilot lamp, operation pilot lamp and pilot lamp "Clean" at the front of the unit.
Safety: An electronic impurity detector switches the unit off in case of high degree impurities of the water in the evaporator; the red pilot lamp "Clean" will glow. Thermostatic low water cut-off to protect the heating element. CO2 degassing through outlet in the condenser.
Material: Heating element, evaporator, storage tank and condenser made of stainless steel.
Housing: Double-walled housing made of electrolytically galvanised sheet steel, electrostatically powder-coated with epoxy resin.
Water connection: Cooling water inlet through built-in solenoid valve and hose connection for pressure hose 1/2" (inner ? approx. 12.7 mm). Cooling water outlet with hose connection 3/4" (inner ? approx. 19.0 mm). Hoses for water in- and outlet are available as accessory.
Mains connection: cable with shock-proof plug.
Required cooling water pressure: > 3 to max. 7 bar
The Water Still is maintenance-free and has the CE and EAC mark.
