Specificity
Clone O323 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that detects Human CD27.
Human CD27 antigen (Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 7).
Quality Control Testing:
Evaluated by Flow Cytometry in Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC).
Flow Cytometry Analysis (FC): Staining of one million mouse splenocytes was performed using 5 µL of 1:1 mixture of Cat. No. CWA-1003, Anti-Human CD23 (2G8) Colorwheel® Dye-Ready mAb and CWD-PE, Colorwheel® Antibody-Ready Phycoerythrin (PE) Dye or an equivalent amount of a PE-conjugated Rat IgG2a isotype control.

Target description
CD27 antigen (UniProt: P26842; also known as CD27L receptor, T-cell activation antigen CD27, T14, Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 7, CD27) is encoded by the CD27 (also known as TNFRS7) gene (Gene ID: 939) in human. CD27 is a homodimeric, single-pass type I membrane protein that is expressed mainly in T-cells but is also reported to present in NK cells and B-cell populations. It serves as a receptor for CD70/CD27L and plays a vital role in activation, differentiation, and survival of T-cells. It is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-19), which is subsequently cleaved off to generate the mature form that contains an extracellular domain (aa 20-191), a transmembrane domain (aa 192-212), and cytoplasmic domain (aa 213-260). CD27 -/- mice are reported to display impaired CD4+ and CD8+ response to influenza virus. Mutations in CD27 gene are known to cause lymphoproliferative syndrome 2, an autosomal recessive immunodeficiency disorder associated with persistent symptomatic EBV viremia, hypogammagobulinemia, and T-cell dysfunction. Physical form
Lyophilized from PBS containing D-Mannitol and Sucrose, normal appearance is a dried pellet. Reconstituted antibody solution is stable and functional as assessed by functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide.
Reconstitution
1.0 mg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL in PBS. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
Storage and Stability
Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C. Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial. Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of PBS. Protect from light.
