This is an immunochromatographic rapid test based on gold-labeled antibodies. This lateral flow test is a convenient and simple-to-use, one-step device. The test provides clear presence/absence results within 20 minutes after sample enrichment. The detection limit can be regarded as less than one colony forming unit in a 25 g food sample, depending on serogroup. SINGLEPATH® devices can be decontaminated by autoclave, bleach, etc. No additional equipment expenditure is needed. For optimized enrichment, our granulated culture media is recommended.
