The Microfil filtration system is a simple and reliable solution for routine microbiological testing. These ready-to-use 250 mL Microfil funnels that comes with the 0.4 μm pore size, polycarbonate filter system eliminate the need for washing and sterilizing after each test thus making the equipment handling easier and efficient for general microbiological analysis. The push-fit design of the Microfil funnels seals tightly to manifold supports without the need for clamps or O-rings. Unlike with conventional filter holders, incomplete sealing at the membrane/funnel interface is eliminated resulting in uniform recovery of organisms.

MILLIFLEX OASIS® filtration head MMHEADMM1

MILLIFLEX OASIS® filtration system offers a solution to simplify and secure microbial testing process with premium levels of productivity, result reliability and regulatory compliance. MILLIFLEX OASIS® filtration head provided two per pump are made of stainless steel provided with silicone, rubber gaskets. Even if it is not mandatory, the filtration head can be autoclaved at 121°C for 15 minutes or at 134°C for 5 minutes. The system is designed for biosafety cabinets/laminar flow hoods, with its small footprint, low weight and easy to decontaminate surfaces.

MILLIFLEX OASIS® filtration head find its application in Bioburden testing, water monitoring and general microbiological analysis of beer, bottled water. They are widely used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

MILLIFLEX OASIS® 100 mL funnel is a ready-to-use, sterile filter unit that combine a funnel and a gridded membrane filter in a single device offering a complete solution for bioburden testing. The filter unit is made of Styrene butadiene copolymer and the membrane is made of mixed cellulose esters with 0.22 µm pore size, white gridded and 49mm diameter. The sealed integral membrane filter eliminates the need for membrane manipulation and handling, thus minimizing a major source of contamination and thereby improves bioburden testing reliability. The sealed membrane prevents the bypass phenomenon often found with other filtration systems. The MILLIFLEX OASIS® membrane filter possesses almost twice the surface area of standard membranes enabling faster filtration and the funnel can be easily detached from the membrane without the use of any tools. MILLIFLEX OASIS® 100 mL funnel is a ready-to-use, sterile filter unit that combine a funnel and a gridded membrane filter in a single device offering a complete solution for bioburden testing. The filter unit is made of Styrene butadiene copolymer and the membrane is made of mixed cellulose esters with 0.45 µm pore size, black gridded and 49mm diameter. The sealed integral membrane filter eliminates the need for membrane manipulation and handling, thus minimizing a major source of contamination and thereby improves bioburden testing reliability. The sealed membrane prevents the bypass phenomenon often found with other filtration systems. The MILLIFLEX OASIS® membrane filter possesses almost twice the surface area of standard membranes enabling faster filtration and the funnel can be easily detached from the membrane without the use of any tools.
